
Metal Fabricator
The Metal Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling aluminum components used in the construction of SeaArk Boats. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience working with aluminum and using fabrications tools and machinery in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Measure, cut, and shape aluminum sheets, tubing, and extrusions using saws, shears, brakes, and other tools Fit and tack weld aluminum components in preparation for final welding Operate fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and drill presses Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality Maintain a clean and organized work area Required Skills/Abilities: Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of aluminum properties and fabrication techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery Basic math and measurement skills Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably with aluminum Forklift certification or ability to obtain one Valid driver's license Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally. May involve working outdoors or in industrial environments Use of protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses Must be able to bend at waist and knees, climb on and off ladders, equipment, or boats and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary. This is a safety sensitive position.
