sheet metal installer in Spring to start on 03/16/2026
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic for a short-term, one-week assignment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, read blueprints, and perform high-quality sheet metal installation and fabrication in a school.
Badging will be needed before spring break
Responsibilities:
Install, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components (ductwork, fittings, etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Measure, cut, bend, and fasten sheet metal using hand and power tools
Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
Coordinate with site supervisor and other trades as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic
Strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have own basic hand tools
Reliable transportation to job site
OSHA 10/30 preferred (or willingness to comply with site safety requirements)
