Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Corporate Actions Associate to join one of their top private equity firm clients in New York City. Sitting in the Global Investment Operations Team, this team is responsible for everything post settlement.
Processing corporate actions, lifecycle activity for various assets such as bonds, equities, derivatives, etc. This includes exposure to both voluntary and mandatory events and familiarity with SWIFT messaging
Experience in accounting processing and understanding PnL impact of events
Complete ownership and accountability of processes assigned. This includes data maintenance and timeliness of activity processing with adherence and evidencing of controls.
Responsible for reviewing and actioning the daily reconciliation of cash, position, and accruals and assisting in resolution of any settlement exceptions.
Partnering and collaborating with various internal collaborators including (but not limited to) Middle Office to assist with any fund needs, Securities Master team on asset setup and lifecycle activities, and our Reconciliation team on break resolution, and Business/Legal colleagues.
Work with our external Trustees, Custodians, Prime Brokers, Agents to resolve pending event settlements or exception discrepancies.
Responding to queries and taking complete ownership of the lifecycle event processes.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience within corporate actions
Background in Asset Management / Private Equity
Hands on Experience with Full Lifecycle of Corporate Actions
Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge of Bank Debt, Loans, Fixed Income, Equity (Private and Public) - Coding / Technical Background
