Overview
The PPE Registered Nurse assumes accountability and responsibility for managing all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care for the preoperative patient. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost effective patient care. Responsibilities
Utilizes the standards of Patient Focused Model. Plans, implements, evaluates, and manages care for all patients with consideration of age, developmental, socioeconomic, psychological, physical, spiritual, and cultural factors. Position requires outstanding assessment and care coordination skills. Practice reflects knowledge of current nursing literature and resources, demonstrates ongoing learning in appropriate science such as contemporary medical, pharmacologic, and pathophysiology to care for specific patient types. Maintains competency in nursing practice and clinical skills and makes an annual plan for professional development. Completes mandatory educational requirements. Qualifications
Required: Current NH RN licensure Required: 5+ years of related clinical experience Required: Maintain current BLS certification Preferred Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Previous perioperative or critical care experience Work Arrangement
The Per Diem PPE Registered Nurse will work primarily in a remote capacity, with occasional in-person responsibilities at our Tuscan Village location in Salem, NH.
