This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring high quality health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. MGBMG provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, behavioral and mental health, specialty care, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, imaging, lab services, infusion, and urgent care both digitally and in person in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Job Summary The PPE Registered Nurse assumes accountability for all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family‑centered care for the preoperative patient. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care.

Job Specific Responsibilities Include

Utilizes the standards of the Patient Focused Model; plans, implements, evaluates, and manages care for all patients, considering age, developmental, socioeconomic, psychological, physical, spiritual, and cultural factors. The position requires outstanding assessment and care coordination skills.

Applies knowledge of current nursing literature and resources, demonstrating ongoing learning in contemporary medical, pharmacologic, and pathophysiological sciences to care for specific patient types.

Maintains competency in nursing practice and clinical skills, completing annual professional development plans and mandatory educational requirements.

Qualifications Required:

Current NH RN licensure

5+ years of related clinical experience

Maintain current BLS certification

Preferred Experience We Hope You Have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Previous perioperative or critical care experience

Additional Job Details (if applicable) The Per Diem PPE Registered Nurse will work primarily in a remote capacity, with occasional in‑person responsibilities at our Tuscan Village location in Salem, NH. We are seeking a candidate with consistent availability to support and collaborate with our PPE team.
