Your Role in Our Success The Commercial Loan Closer is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end closing process for commercial loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role serves as a critical liaison between internal teams, borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other third parties to facilitate a smooth and efficient loan closing. This role reviews loan documents, coordinates funding logistics, and ensures all required conditions are met prior to disbursement, safeguarding the institution’s interests while delivering a high level of service. This position will be required to work the hours of 8:30-5:30 EST.
Draft and review commercial loan documents for accuracy and compliance
Coordinate simultaneous closings for both simple and complex loan transactions
Order and review title searches, commitments, and related documents
Collect and review due diligence materials (e.g., corporate documents, leases, subordination agreements)
Collaborate with underwriters to complete and verify due diligence
Maintain and update electronic checklists to track closing requirements
Organize and manage digital loan files for accuracy and accessibility
Communicate with internal teams, borrowers, attorneys, and third parties to ensure timely, accurate closings
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements What You Bring to the Table
Associate or Bachelor degree in business administration, finance, paralegal studies, legal studies, real estate.
3+ years of experience in commercial loan closing in credit unions or commercial banking.
2+ years of direct SBA/504 loan closing experience
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal and financial documents.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with loan origination or document management systems.

Compensation: Base compensation for this role ranges from $24.04 - $28.85 Hourly
