Job Summary The Packaging Associate supports production operations by collecting, inspecting, packing, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate packaging tools and automated machinery, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
Collect, pack, label, and prepare items for shipment according to work instructions and quality standards
Inspect parts for quality assurance, ensuring product meets required specifications and emphasizing attention to detail
Operate packaging tools, equipment, and automated systems safely and efficiently (ex. pallet wrappers, scanners, elastic staplers, conveyors/automation equipment)
Use tools such as box cutters and clippers in a safe and responsible manner
Report quality concerns, equipment issues, or malfunctions promptly to the supervisor
Maintain work area cleanliness and organization; properly dispose of debris and packaging waste
Follow all safety policies, including required PPE and safe practices around moving machinery
Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to
30 lbs.

Must be able to bend, reach, twist, and use hands/fingers for handling packaging materials and tools
