As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer based in Tyler, Texas, you will play a critical role in developing complete 2D/3D electrical and instrumentation design packages that support construction‑ready project execution.

What You'll Do

Create electrical construction drawings and prepare design deliverables for industrial projects.

Develop power plans, one ‑ lines, hazard classification maps, grounding, lighting, cable routing, and conduit schedules.

Produce instrumentation documents including IO lists, instrument location drawings, installation details, wiring diagrams, and loop sheets.

Review P&IDs to ensure design alignment with project requirements and Basis of Design.

Incorporate laser scan and survey data into 3D models to identify and resolve field interferences.

Apply NEC, NFPA, IEC, PIP, and other industry standards throughout the design process.

Collaborate with multi ‑ discipline engineering and design teams to produce complete E&I drawing packages.

What You'll Bring

5–10 years of E&I design experience in oil & gas or renewable fuels industries.

Design/Drafting certificate or 5+ years relevant experience; Associate degree preferred.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Elecdes, and Navisworks.

Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEC, and PIP standards.

Field experience preferred.

Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
