Position Overview:
As a Customer Service and Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering prompt and friendly service while identifying their needs. Your role involves leveraging our tools to learn about products, enabling you to assist customers in making informed purchase decisions for their projects. You will gain skills in greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer interaction in your department, while also acquiring knowledge to assist in related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an organized and safe shopping environment that is clean and well-stocked.
Provide exceptional customer service by actively engaging with customers and fulfilling their needs.
Collaborate effectively with Department Supervisors and team members across various departments, including but not limited to Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental.
Adhere to safety standards and complete required training to ensure a safe working environment.
Promptly report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
