What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide services to State Government accounts and identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities
Develop and execute long-range planning and account penetration strategies to grow accounts
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to lead capture and sales efforts
Create proposals and customer-facing materials to advance deals and close transactions
Monitor competition and recommend changes in products and services based on client requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
7+ years of field sales experience, including at least 2 years with state agencies
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in a growth organization
Strong experience in Federal Government procurement and writing competitive proposals
Extensive knowledge of the competitive landscape within large agency ecosystems
Ability to travel up to 20%, more frequently if not based in Raleigh, NC
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience as a former director/deputy director in Medicaid, SNAP, etc.
Government engagement experience, including understanding of procurement and funding processes
Skilled relationship builder with the ability to engage key stakeholders in person
Experience using Salesforce
Knowledge of software-as-a-service solutions and the credit agency space
