What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Provide services to State Government accounts and identify, qualify, and close new opportunities

Develop and execute long‑range planning and account penetration strategies

Participate in the account planning process, including pipeline development and revenue forecasting

Lead capture and sales efforts by coordinating with cross‑functional teams

Establish relationships with client decision‑makers and negotiate client agreements

What is Required (Qualifications)

7+ years of field sales experience, including at least 2 years in state agencies

Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in a growth organization

Extensive knowledge of competitive landscapes within large agency ecosystems (e.g., SSA, HHS)

Strong experience in Federal Government procurement and writing competitive proposals

Ability to travel up to 20%, more frequently if not based in Nashville, TN

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in Medicaid, SNAP, or similar government programs

Background in government relations, campaign work, or procurement processes

Skilled relationship builder with the ability to engage key stakeholders

Familiarity with Salesforce

Experience in software‑as‑a‑service solutions, particularly in the Credit Agency space
