Account Executive – Southeast U.S. Territory Company Overview Our client is a rapidly growing, privately held leader in food packaging space serving the food manufacturing and processing sector.

They provide a full suite of packaging products that help customers improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance brand appeal. The company emphasizes a collaborative culture, strong technical support, and long‑term partnerships with its clients across North America.

Role Summary Reporting to the Southeast Sales Director, the Account Executive will take ownership of a high‑potential Southeast U.S. territory, balancing established accounts with proactive new business development.

This is a hands‑on, high‑autonomy role for a motivated, competitive seller who thrives on earning business independently and driving revenue through a consultative, relationship‑led approach.

Key Responsibilities

Own and grow the Southeast U.S. territory, managing travel and accounts to maximize revenue.

Ramp quickly by taking over existing business while actively developing new accounts.

Prospect consistently, including cold calling, to convert opportunities into long‑term customer relationships.

Sell consultatively to decision‑makers, clearly communicating value and building trust.

Maintain a disciplined pipeline, ensuring follow‑up and next steps without close oversight.

Collaborate with the Sales Director and internal teams for smooth account coverage and customer experience.

Complete onboarding (1–3 months), then operate independently to drive growth and revenue.

Ideal Candidate

Proven self‑starter with packaging sales experience, preferably from distribution, though end‑customer sales experience in a manufacturing environment is also valuable.

Energized by competition and motivated by an uncapped commission structure.

Confident building and managing relationships with food processors and related accounts across the Southeast U.S.

Able to work autonomously, make decisions quickly, and consistently drive results.
