
The Account Manager is responsible for supporting and coordinating the activities of their assigned outside sales representatives. This position ensures that sales processes, project tracking, documentation, and customer communication are managed efficiently from lead intake to job completion. The role serves as the organizational backbone for the outside sales team, enabling them to maximize their time in the field and increase closing ratios by minimizing administrative burdens.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary internal liaison for their assigned outside salesmen that clients can be directed to for information.
Review insurance claims for any needed supplementation working with the estimating department.
Track the status of each project and keep all parties informed of updates or delays.
Maintain up-to-date records in Acculynx.
Customer Communication
Provide proactive communication to homeowners regarding scheduling, documentation requests, and next steps.
Handle inbound calls or emails from customers for the assigned sales reps and route them accordingly.
Provide necessary updates within the Customer Portal.
Project Management
Manage project files from sales handoff to production readiness.
Coordinate with production, estimating, and accounting teams to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed efficiently.
Monitor milestones and completion status, noting outstanding items or post-build follow-up items.
Work Location and Pay Information
Full time in office position
Daily Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
Position typically requires between 40 to 60 hours per week
Hourly Rate between $31.25 to $33.65, depending on experience
