
A global automotive technology business is seeking a Senior Sales Manager – Europe to lead growth across the automotive and commercial vehicle aftermarket.
This role combines hands‑on commercial leadership with strategic responsibility for shaping go-to‑market execution across Europe. You will lead a direct sales team alongside a network of manufacturing representatives, working closely with major aftermarket customers and partners.
The role This is a senior commercial leadership position with direct accountability for European aftermarket revenue and team performance.
Take full responsibility for European aftermarket revenue generation, ensuring consistent pipeline growth across existing and new customer accounts
Lead and coordinate a direct European sales team and external manufacturing representatives, ensuring strong market coverage and execution
Expand market share with established customers while actively developing new accounts and distribution opportunities
Build and maintain senior relationships with key customer decision‑makers, supporting account owners on strategic engagements
Set sales targets and provide revenue input into annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range growth strategies
Design and implement effective sales structures, processes, and go‑to‑market models to support scalable growth
Invest in the training, development, and ongoing motivation of the sales team, building a high‑performance culture
This role requires a leader who understands the European aftermarket landscape and how to drive growth through both people and process.
Proven sales leadership experience within the European automotive aftermarket
Extensive knowledge of the European automotive aftermarket distributer network
Track record of delivering €20M+ revenue and sustained growth across Europe
Experience leading direct sales teams and managing indirect or representative‑based sales models
Strong understanding of aftermarket customer dynamics, distribution models, and service‑driven value propositions
Ability to operate with urgency, accountability, and commercial discipline
Prior exposure to OEM sales environments or close collaboration with OEM customers
Experience operating in businesses supplying technically differentiated or mission‑critical products
Background in organisations undergoing growth, transformation, or market expansion
Personal profile
Strategic, commercially minded leader with strong analytical and decision‑making capability
Confident communicator and negotiator, able to influence at all levels internally and externally
Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, multi‑priority environments
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience
Fluent in German and English
