
This individual is responsible for planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising ductwork/equipment installation on job sites. Must be able to measure ductwork and produce shop tickets (ie. mechanical rooms, etc.)
Duties of Foreman

Work Closely with Project Manager
Manpower (Must forecast labor by 2 week lookaheads)
Coordination of work (i.e.: Job Schedule, Ordering Materials, Manage Tools and Directing Subs)
Quality Control/Safety
Reports (Daily Job, JSAs, Time Sheets, RFI’s Tool Return, Safety, Accident and Dray Tickets)
Material Take-Off
Equipment Ship Dates
Change Orders
Attend Job Meetings
Control Job Cost (Materials, rental equipment, man hours)
Payroll
Employee Termination
Serve as a mentor for future field leaders
Control Manpower (Start Time and Leaving Time, Manage Productivity of Crew)
Be accountable for meeting deadlines developed by Operations Manager
Layout work in front of your crew member(s)
Requirements
A High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years as a journeyman with experience in commercial sheet metal ductwork installation; or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).
This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 pounds.
