Job Summary The Senior Product Specialist for Quoting Technology will act as a global functional / technical leader and subject matter expert for digital solutions that enable global quoting processes. This role blends deep functional knowledge of quoting, contracting, pricing and rebate management within a Medical Device organization, along with technical expertise in enabling platforms such as Oracle CPQ, Conga CLM and SalesForce. Additionally, this role will provide thought leadership and drive the use of digital (ex. Gen AI, AgenticAI, Automation) capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that optimize commercial operations for both field sales and contracting / pricing teams.

The incumbent will lead product strategies, roadmap execution, collaborate with development engineers / architects and strategic partners in the agile delivery of Quoting products. The incumbent should therefore have experience working in a SAFe Agile framework, technical expertise in core platforms noted, and experience in building data, AI and automation products leveraging Databricks, PowerBI, MuleSoft and emerging GenAI / AgenticAI solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, both business and technology experience, exceptional relationship building skills with diverse global teams and cultures, and solution‑oriented mindset. In addition, this person should also possess an analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes, listening, creativity, and negotiations skills across all organization levels. Having excellent judgment and decision‑making skills and willingness to accept ownership and accountability is key.

Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy: Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for quoting platforms, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise architecture.

Technical Expertise: Display strong work experience in leading and delivering global platform solutions for Quoting (Oracle CPQ), Contracting (Conga CLM), Pricing Setting / Monitoring and Salesforce.

Data Management: Deploy corresponding solutions for Data Management (Reltio, Databricks, PowerBI) and drive seamless data flow and integration with Quoting and Pricing.

Digital & AI Enablement: Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI‑driven insights, automation, and advanced analytics into quoting processes.

Agile Leadership: Serve as a product leader within SAFe Agile teams, providing clear priorities, business context, and servant leadership to enable high‑performing delivery squads.

Solution Design & Delivery: Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to design scalable, integrated solutions that optimize commercial operations. Experience in development / engineering, architecture / design, and cross‑product integration is essential.

Value Realization: Establish KPIs and measure Quoting and Pricing products and Digital Solutions impact on business objectives (e.g., revenue growth, margin expansion, efficiency).

Team Leadership: Effectively lead global teams, motivate and hire exceptional talent. Strong sense of personal accountability and ownership, with proven ability to create followership and build high‑performing teams.

Communication & Influencing: Communicate complex business challenges in a simplified manner; conversely, translate complex technology concepts into business language. Must be collaborative with strong written and oral communications.

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to global pricing, sales, marketing, and technology teams, influencing strategic decisions and driving adoption of new capabilities.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive innovation and process optimization through digital transformation initiatives (e.g., automation opportunities to improve processes).

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field.

5+ years of experience in product management or technology leadership roles within commercial operations.

Proven experience with pricing, quoting, or contracting platforms (e.g., Oracle CPQ, Conga CLM).

Strong expertise in SAFe Agile methodology and leading cross‑functional product teams.

Familiarity with AI/ML applications, digital transformation, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Experience influencing strategic technology roadmaps and delivering enterprise‑scale solutions.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

Advanced degree.

Experience in product management or technology leadership roles within commercial operations for medical device or regulated industries.

Strong product management and agile leadership capabilities.

Ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.

Experience in stakeholder management skills.

Deep understanding of digital technologies, AI, and integration strategies.
