Collections Specialist

We're seeking a motivated, detail-driven Collections Specialist to manage B2B accounts receivable and support timely payment activity for one of our clients in Peachtree Corners. This role blends financial precision with strong relationship-building, ensuring credit policies are upheld while delivering an excellent client experience. What You'll Do

Portfolio Management: Handle a high-volume set of commercial accounts and drive on-time invoice collection. Client Interaction: Engage with customers professionally to discuss balances, negotiate payment solutions, and maintain positive working relationships. Credit Administration: Track account standing and execute credit holds or releases according to company guidelines. Issue Resolution: Research discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and ensure financial data is accurate and up to date. Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot billing concerns and improve overall processes. Documentation: Maintain thorough records of communications, collection activities, and account updates. Reporting: Generate routine aging and performance reports to track progress and highlight trends. What You Bring

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on commercial/B2B collections work. Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, NetSuite) and solid Excel skills, including pivot tables. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-centric approach. Work Style: Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and operate independently in a dynamic environment. Accuracy: High level of attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations. Exposure to Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or comparable ERP systems.
