We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Metal Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for refining and finishing metal components to achieve the highest standards of quality and precision. Your expertise will ensure that all metal surfaces are polished, smooth, and meet strict specifications, contributing to the production of top-tier products. Responsibilities Polish and finish various metal parts using hand tools, polishing machines, and abrasives to achieve desired surface quality. Operate machinery to prepare surfaces for polishing. Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly calibrated and in good working condition. Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure seamless integration of polished components into final products. Follow safety protocols when operating machinery. Experience Proven experience in metal finishing or polishing within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to sheet metal fabrication, tooling, and assembly techniques. Ability to read blueprints accurately and utilize precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers effectively. Knowledge of quality inspection standards including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles. Basic math skills for precise measurements.
