Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description The Project Superintendent is responsible for coordinating the project site, scheduling subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring site safety, and maintaining quality and productivity. This role involves nurturing relationships with the project building team and overseeing on-site work execution in adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project schedules. Responsibilities

Coordinate project site activities and manage subcontractor and supplier schedules. Ensure adherence to contract documents, quality standards, and project timelines. Foster collaboration with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Conduct safety orientations and inspections, identify hazards, and implement safety plans. Demonstrate a commitment to safety through leadership and consistent behavior. Manage the general conditions budget to support the project's financial success by controlling and reducing costs. Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and project diaries. Participate in owner meetings to provide updates and address project needs. Secure necessary permits, approvals, and inspections from governmental agencies and utility providers. Lead the preparation and completion of punch lists and closeout documentation. Essential Skills

5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager/Site Superintendent supporting ground up, industrial, and/or data center work. Experience with precast and tilt-wall projects. Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam software. Experience creating look-ahead schedules. OSHA 30 certification. CPR, AED, BBP, and First Aid Training. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of MS Project is a plus. Experience in construction management and supervision. Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure construction safety and quality control. Work Environment

The office headquarters is located in Oak Brook, IL, featuring a beautifully renovated office space. Candidates will initially complete training and orientation at the office for the first 1-2 weeks. The project location is to be decided, potentially in Texas, California, or the East Coast, focusing on an industrial big box project. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
