We are seeking a Marketing Research Copywriter who combines deep financial-market knowledge with exceptional writing ability. This is not a pure data role — it is a thinking-and-writing role built for someone who can interpret complex financial information and translate it into compelling thought leadership. You will work directly with the Head of Marketing to shape how private markets are communicated to investors. This role sits at the intersection of research, storytelling, and strategy — transforming data across private credit, private infrastructure, private equity, and venture capital into insightful, persuasive content. This is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in financial services who has developed a strong voice in market commentary, research writing, or investment communications.
Responsibilities
Write and develop white papers, market commentaries, and long-form thought leadership pieces
Translate complex index data and performance analytics into clear, compelling narratives
Analyze private-market and public-market index data (Bloomberg, MSCI/Burgiss, Cliffwater, etc.) to inform content strategy
Structure asset allocation comparisons and return analyses to support investor education
Research industry trends, competitor positioning, and product landscapes
Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align messaging with strategy
Generate original insights that strengthen the firm’s content engine and brand authority
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in copywriting for financial services (asset management, alternatives, investment research, investment banking, or similar)
Demonstrated experience writing market commentary, research reports, white papers, or investor-facing content
Strong ability to synthesize financial data into engaging narratives
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Familiarity with index data and performance datasets (Bloomberg, MSCI, Cliffwater, Burgiss, etc.)
Intellectual curiosity about private markets and long-term capital formation
Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
Comfortable working onsite 4 days per week in NYC
Why Join
Direct mentorship from a senior marketing leader
Meaningful exposure across private credit, private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure
Opportunity to build a visible, substantive thought-leadership portfolio
Clear pathways for internal growth and expanded strategic influence
Be part of shaping how private markets are communicated to modern investors
