Our client is seeking a Sr Business Analyst / Product Owner that defines, documents, and prioritizes business needs to ensure effective delivery of high‑quality products and enhancements on the Salesforce platform. This role partners closely with the product owner team, the tech delivery team and business stakeholders to shape requirements, manage the backlog, and drive value‑based delivery in an Agile environment.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
Lead requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.
Serve as Product Owner for one or more Agile teams, owning backlog prioritization, refinement, and readiness.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and product demos to ensure transparency and alignment.
Partner with engineering, QA, UX, data, and architecture to support solution design, refinement, and delivery.
Perform and validate Salesforce platform configuration in lower environments and support pipeline promotion to production.
Manage integration requirements, ensure data alignment, and interpret architecture diagrams for cross-system solutions.
Conduct stakeholder workshops across global regions to align requirements and document business processes.
Support UAT readiness, change management, training, and feature adoption for business users.
Engage in daily story refinement, challenge estimates where appropriate, conduct testing, and execute product demos.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes, improve product performance, and reduce delivery risk.
Experience Requirements
7 to 10+ years in business analysis, product ownership, or a similar hybrid role.
5+ years of Salesforce platform knowledge beyond CRM UI.
Proven experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and applying Agile practices.
Demonstrated success working across complex systems, integrations, and matrixed stakeholder groups.
Strong communication with the ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams.
Experience with global stakeholder coordination and flexibility for cross‑time‑zone meetings.
Experience with Jira and Confluence (preferred).
Data analysis fundamentals using SQL or reporting tools (preferred).
Exposure to AI capabilities such as Agent Force (preferred).
Hospitality industry experience (preferred).
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
CSPO or PSPO certification (preferred).
CBAP or PMI‑PBA certification (preferred).
SAFe PO/PM certification (preferred).
