Summary This position is located at Fort Gordon – Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation – Business Operations Division.

Eligibility Requirements Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. and have resided in the U.S. or its territory for at least three continuous years immediately preceding the start of federal affiliation.

Current or former NAF or APF Employees who wish to claim preference must submit a copy of their personnel action (DA Form 3434 or SF‑50).

Duties

Assist the facility manager in managing the Golf Activity.

Execute instructions and directives to operate a reliable, profit‑generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.

Review programs to identify strengths and weaknesses, recommend or implement corrective measures, and evaluate success in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, and mission accomplishment.

Review financial reports, plan costs, and budget, ensuring the safeguarding of the facility and assets.

Assist the manager in marketing and promoting the golf activity.

Provide golf instruction to individuals and groups, and assist in scheduling and conducting golf‑related activities and tournaments.

Work experience or education directly related to duties.

Ability to instruct golf, evidenced through completion or pursuit of Class A PGA Certification.
