Overview

This position is located at Taylors Creek Golf Course, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives

Incentives may be paid. PCS and Relocation incentive ($10,000) may be authorized. Duties

Manages, plans, and directs the daily operations of a golf course facility to include golf course maintenance. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community and military representatives. Responsible for all food and beverage operations within the facility. Second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors including other PGA Professionals. Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, and develops activity financial plan and operating budgets to include Capital Purchase and Minor Construction. Prepares financial and operational briefings as required. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity. Provides and maintains teaching program for patronage at the individual and group levels, to include personal lesson participation. Requirements

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para. 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must be a PGA member class "A" in good standing. Qualifications

A 4 year college degree in a business related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest. Allowances and Differentials

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
