JR102359It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***Department:**Parks + Rec**Location:**Kansas City, MO**Grade:**280**Salary:**$76,980 - $98,134/year**Job Duties*** Serves as General Manager of the Fred Arbanas Golf Course, overseeing all operations and aspects of this public golf facility.* Supervises 4 full-time positions including two Golf Course Professionals, a Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor, Concession Coordinator, and a Division Coordinator, as well as 20 budgeted seasonal positions; formulates strategy, manages a diverse staff, provides direction, and establishes policy.* Monitors the quality and sales of the Courses products and services to include golf equipment, apparel, and food products.* Provides research and analysis to ensure current facility and program trends are met within budget and operational constraints.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Parks and Recreation Administration, Business Administration or in a related field.* Six years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory experience, in golf course general management, recreation, park administration, business or related field.* Must possess/maintain valid Driver’s License.* Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.*If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!*The associates of Jackson County fill a vast array of positions, but they are all part of one team, sharing a common goal - serving the citizens of Jackson County.
