About this role: Carrier Energy is developing integrated energy solutions which turn Carrier’s industry‑leading HVAC systems into a virtual power plant (VPP) for electric utilities, allowing for a smarter, greener and more resilient power grid.

The Digital Product Manager will define and execute strategy for the digital product ecosystem that enables Carrier Energy, delivering value to homeowners, dealers, and utilities. This role combines strategic vision, technical acumen, and customer empathy to drive product success. This is a great opportunity to have high impact supporting a wholly new business within Carrier.

Key Responsibilities:

Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends.

Own the product lifecycle from concept through launch and post‑market optimization.

Conduct user research and translate insights into actionable requirements.

Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure successful delivery and adoption.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., energy codes, cybersecurity).

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

4 + years in product management for enterprise SaaS and/or energy solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Familiarity with IoT, cloud platforms, and API integrations

Familiarity with Agile software development processes

Fluency with modern product design & development tools including Miro, Figma, Jira, and Confluence

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision‑making

Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with a bias for proactive communication

Experience with energy, IoT, or Virtual Power Plant (VPP) products

This position is entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Pay Range The annual salary for this position is $120,000–$168,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
