Our Communications team is seeking a
Culture and Engagement Strategist
to help shape, strengthen, and sustain our strong organizational culture. This position will be responsible for designing data-driver strategies to strengthen culture, improve engagement and retention, and align the team member experience with the customer promise.
Job Functions:
Assess and monitor the state of the organizational culture through data and develop action plans to help further enhance culture
Leverage data and insights to drive strategies to reinforce the organization’s core values
Provide thought partnership and best practices to leaders across the organization to build and sustain a strong organizational culture
Works closely with HR, Communications, Operations and field leadership to align initiatives related to culture and people engagement
Partner with leadership and cross functional teams to implement culture projects and initiatives
Translate core values into daily behaviors, leadership expectations, and recognition moments across the organization
Owns employee engagement and employee listening processes and analytics
Lead and support change initiatives to match process and technology to support sustained cultural adoption and alignment
Administer and continuously enhance the enterprise-wide recognition program, ensuring alignment with company values and promoting employee engagement
Analyze recognition data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness and recommend improvements that further embed a culture of appreciation
Communicate findings and progress related to cultural and recognition programs to stakeholders
Drive projects or initiatives by creating project plans, identifying resources, managing project schedules and communicating through the change management process
Support an inclusive environment and foster a sense of belonging
Act as a change agent and anticipate cultural impact and needs
Lead change-management efforts across the enterprise to ensure smooth transition and minimal organizational disruption
Maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of organizational and operational procedures to best understand cultural impact
Requires up to 30% travel, including overnight stays while traveling to store locations
Other duties assigned as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business or similar field of study preferred
HR Certification (SHRM CP/PHR/SHRM SCP/SPHR) preferred
3-5 years experience in employee engagement, culture experience, organizational development or HR strategy.
Experience working in multi-site retail, call center, or operational environment preferred
Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling engagement or culture programs with measurable impact
Demonstrated track record of moving strategic projects or initiatives forward with successful completion

Hard skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and HR software
Soft Skills: strong presentation skills, willingness and ability to learn from other departments, good verbal and written communication skills, strong time management skills, strong organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, ability to exercise independent judgment, ability to use tact and persuasion under pressure in confrontational situations, ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action, exceptional follow up skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse field employee related issues, concerns, etc.

Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard
