Overview Job Title : Senior Instructional Designer

Job Description Summary

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of training programs and content for Client Accounting staff and Facility Management business operations. This role requires expertise in instructional design, learning management system (LMS) administration, and collaboration with subject matter experts to create impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in course and learning plan design, content development, and a data-driven approach to improving learning effectiveness.

Essential Job Duties

Design and develop engaging, learner-centered courses and structured learning plans aligned with organizational goals and adult learning principles.

Manage and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS), including user setup, content deployment, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and department leads to gather requirements and translate them into impactful learning solutions.

Create interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Yardi Aspire, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia, integrating multimedia elements effectively.

Host live/virtual training sessions and workshops for Client Accounting and Facility Management staff across various locations.

Analyze training metrics, learner feedback, and performance data to continuously improve course content and delivery strategies.

Support training and logistics for global department delivery.

Ensure training materials are current, accurate, and aligned with compliance and operational standards.

Perform other related duties as required or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May lead or coordinate efforts of project teams to complete instructional design work within project deadlines.

Provides solutions to routine and complex instructional design challenges.

Education/Experience/Training

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field preferred.

Work Experience

Requires three to five years of experience in instructional design and LMS administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

Proficiency in LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools (Yardi Aspire, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to train, mentor, and coach others effectively.

Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.

Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.

The company offers competitive pay that may vary based on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicable collective bargaining agreements. The offered compensation for the successful candidate will depend on factors such as collective bargaining coverage, geographic location, market pay rates, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation range is: $63,750.00 - $75,000.00.
