
Outside Sales Executive - Metal Stamping

A well-established industrial manufacturer near Bloomingdale, IL is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to support continued growth across key markets. This role is focused on developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and serving as a trusted partner to clients needing custom manufactured components and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a territory of industrial customers across the Midwest region
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
Work closely with internal engineering, estimating, and production teams to ensure accurate quoting and successful order execution
Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and product/service capabilities to customers
Attend customer meetings and conduct facility visits as needed
Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and forecasts using CRM tools
Support customer issue resolution and ensure long-term account satisfaction
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows when applicable
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B sales experience in an industrial environment
Background selling manufacturing services or industrial products (metal fabrication, stamping, machining, forming, etc. strongly preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to understand technical drawings/specs and communicate with engineering/manufacturing teams
Proven ability to prospect and close new business
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally/regionally as needed
Preferred Experience
Experience selling custom manufacturing solutions rather than commodity products
Familiarity with OEMs, industrial distributors, or Tier manufacturing environments
Experience working with quoting and cost-driven customer decision processes
