Contract Recruiter
for a 3-4 month contract assignment with a Madison-based client. We are looking for an experienced Recruiter who can jump in quickly and manage full‑cycle recruiting across a variety of roles. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys fast‑paced recruiting, can build pipelines efficiently, and provides a great candidate experience.
Location Hybrid but must be living in the Madison, Wisconsin, area for occasional on‑site meetings and collaboration.
Responsibilities
Manage end‑to‑end hiring for a mix of exempt and non‑exempt roles.
Source and engage candidates using job boards, social platforms, and other recruiting tools.
Maintain clear, timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role needs and deliver qualified candidate pipelines.
Prioritize transparency, responsiveness, and a positive candidate journey.
Represent the organization and its mission with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Use ATS and recruiting platforms (e.g., UltiPro, Indeed, LinkedIn) to track candidates and keep searches organized.
Qualifications
2–5 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience across diverse role types.
Strong sourcing skills and comfort using multiple recruiting tools.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions at once.
Clear communication skills with candidates and hiring teams.
Experience in healthcare or insurance is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with recruiting compliance and best practices.
