Senior Recruiter

to join its corporate team! As

Senior Recruiter , you will play a vital role in our mission to attract, engage, and retain top talent. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic experienced recruiter who can bring a consultative approach to our talent acquisition team while leveraging tools and resources to identify and engage exceptional candidates.

Location Hybrid but must live within commuting distance of WPS Corporate Headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, for occasional onsite work.

Full-Cycle Recruitment

Manage the full cycle recruiting process for a broad range of roles, from exempt and non-exempt positions to high-volume class hiring (e.g., customer service reps, interns).

Build and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing methods such as social media recruiting, Boolean searches, and professional networks.

Communicate clearly and persuasively with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, transparent, and engaging experience.

Balance a diverse requisition load while driving quality of hire, timeline efficiency, and pipeline strength.

Consultative Talent Acquisition

Partner with hiring managers and leaders to understand talent needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.

Serve as a trusted talent advisor who can coach and guide leaders through candidate selection and decision-making, as well as ensuring compliant practices

Contribute to shaping overall recruitment strategy in collaboration with TA colleagues and leadership.

Candidate-Centric Approach

Champion a high-touch recruitment experience by prioritizing timely updates, transparency, and meaningful engagement with candidates.

Influence hiring outcomes through strong communication, relationship-building, and effective storytelling about the organization and its mission.

Candidate Sourcing

Go beyond direct applications to identify top talent through job boards, social platforms, community networks, career events, and other creative sourcing strategies.

Use your experience with ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., ATS, Indeed, LinkedIn) to maintain organized, efficient, and scalable pipelines.

Stay up to date on labor trends, industry shifts, and competitor insights to inform sourcing approaches and refine strategies.

Apply this intelligence to strengthen talent acquisition planning and influence organizational hiring decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience across exempt and non-exempt roles, including high-volume and executive-level roles (7+ years’ preferred)

5+ years of proactive sourcing and pipeline management

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing recruiting strategies aligned to business needs

Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience a plus

Expert-level knowledge of recruiting-related compliance, including OFCCP requirements

Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software/tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other online tools

Salary Range:

$80,000 to $85,000. The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
