Role Summary As part of this strategic investment into energy storage, a dedicated commercial role is being created to accelerate growth in the Dutch market. You'll be responsible for building and scaling the ESS category, developing new installer partnerships, and strengthening the company’s position as a trusted storage partner.
This is not a maintenance role. It is a growth-focused position centred on opening doors, creating momentum, and turning opportunity into repeatable revenue. Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will own your region and portfolio end-to-end, working closely with internal sales and branch teams within a well-resourced, established organisation.
Responsibilities
Drive the growth of the Energy Storage (ESS) category across the Netherlands
Identify, approach, and convert new commercial installer relationships
Build long-term partnerships with sustainable and technical installers
Develop and manage your own regional portfolio from acquisition through expansion
Collaborate with internal sales, SDRs, and branch teams to maximise regional performance
Provide market insight and customer feedback to strengthen the ESS proposition
Act as the commercial reference point for energy storage within your territory
Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and activity tracking through CRM
Requirements
Proven sales experience within PV, EV charging, energy storage (ESS), or related industry.
Clear hunter mentality with confidence in prospecting and opening new accounts
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and take ownership
Comfortable in a field-based role with regular travel across the Netherlands
Fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to Have
Existing network within the Dutch installer or sustainable energy ecosystem
Experience within a wholesaler, distributor, or installer-led environment
