Customer Support Representative
Join the Roses/Roses Express team as a Customer Support Representative, where you will be the face of our store, ensuring exceptional service and an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers warmly, assisting with merchandise selection, processing transactions, and providing information about our products and store operations. Additionally, you will help with receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, and maintaining the store's appearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Engage customers positively and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment to enhance customer satisfaction.
Assist in unloading delivery trucks and organizing merchandise for the sales floor.
Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise efficiently.
Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system.
Stay vigilant to ensure customer safety and security throughout the shopping experience.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support effective store operations.
Position Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to follow instructions and understand retail operation documents is essential. Experience:
Previous experience in retail or customer service environments, such as hotels, restaurants, grocery, or drug stores, is preferred. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 55 lbs. Requires frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without accommodation. Availability:
Flexible scheduling is required, including full-time or part-time shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills and Competencies:
Strong customer focus, potential development, results-driven attitude, excellent organizational abilities, effective communication skills, problem-solving, job knowledge, and relationship management. Working Conditions: Retail environment requiring long periods of standing. Stockroom setting with varying temperatures. Frequent movement of merchandise and displays. Exposure to dust and temperature extremes during unloading. Variable work hours, including evenings and weekends. Occasional ladder use for stocking and retrieving merchandise.
