Your Role and Responsibilities As a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Intern, you will take on a strategic business challenge while actively participating in educational and networking activities throughout your internship. You will explore various facets of Marketing, Communications, & Corporate Social Responsibility. At the program's conclusion, you will present your findings to an audience of Marketing leaders and practitioners, providing you with invaluable exposure and mentorship. This role will support the Social Media & Influencer Marketing team. Past intern projects have included: Creating internal influencer campaigns to empower IBMers as brand ambassadors. Enhancing engagement and awareness on social channels for our AI for Business products. Analyzing and improving strategies for emerging social platforms. This internship is based in Austin, TX, and requires in-office attendance at least three days a week. Please note that this position will close on or before January 30th, and IBM does not provide Visa sponsorship for this role; therefore, candidates must be eligible to work without sponsorship. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university. Availability for the entire Summer 2026 internship. Rising junior for the 2026-2027 academic year, aiming for graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028. Foundational knowledge in marketing, social media, or related fields. Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Basic problem-solving and analytical abilities.
