Job Overview Elite Custom Builders is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Carpenter to join our growing Field Operations team. This full-time role is ideal for a construction professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives in a hands‑on environment, and is not afraid of hard work. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction projects while helping uphold our reputation for excellence across Ohio.

Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of rough and finish carpentry for residential and commercial projects
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Frame walls, install doors and windows, build structures, and complete interior finishes
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members
Follow company and OSHA safety guidelines at all times
Lead and mentor less experienced carpenters when serving in a Lead role
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality workmanship
Physically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation to job sites
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule Full-Time
Monday through Friday
Overtime available based on project needs
Work Location Primary projects located throughout the local area
Field‑based position; job site locations may vary
Occasional local travel between project sites may be required
