We are a growing food manufacturer seeking a motivated
Sales Representative
to drive business development and account growth within the food service channel. This is an entry-level opportunity ideally suited for a candidate with 3–5 years of food service sales experience who is eager to grow within a dynamic organization.
The ideal candidate has experience managing or supporting Sysco‑related accounts, understands distributor relationships, and has an interest in plant‑based food products.
Develop and manage relationships with food service operators, distributors, and key accounts, including Sysco‑affiliated accounts
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within assigned territories
Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
Conduct product presentations, tastings, and training sessions for customers
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with production capabilities
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and account plans in CRM systems
Travel to customer locations and attend in‑office meetings in Somerset or Folcroft as required
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Business or a related field
3–5 years of food service sales experience (entry‑level within the organization, but prior industry experience required)
Background managing or supporting Sysco accounts preferred
Familiarity with or strong interest in plant‑based food products preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively
Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
Ability to travel locally as needed
