MACOM sells and distributes products globally via a sales channel comprised of a direct field sales force, authorized sales representatives and leading industry distributors. Our sales team is trained across all of our products to give our customers insights into our entire portfolio.

Job Description This position is responsible for promoting MACOM’s entire product portfolio into the Space/SATCOM market, and supporting other markets as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Engage with customers on new opportunities that align with MACOM Business objectives

Cross-functional role Interfacing with MACOM’s Engineering, Product Marketing and Sales teams to support customers

Develop market and application collateral for the field sales team

Requires a broad and comprehensive technical understanding of Space/SatCom market requirements and MACOM product portfolio capabilities

Provides inputs to MACOM BUs on product development priorities and roadmaps for the Space/SatCom market

Lead active interaction with major customers, reviewing technical requirements with MACOM Business Units.

Develop new customers and emerging sub-markets within the Space/SATCOM market.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. MSEE and/or MBA preferred

5+ years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry

Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.

The Salary Range for this position is $97000 - $166000. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance.
