
Job Title
Prepare cost proposals utilizing existing pricing models as well as new pricing models. Prepare documentation for the development of cost proposals and cost narratives as required.
Duties:
- Provide accurate pricing of proposals, small and large scale to include labor, materials, travel, subcontract costs, and other direct costs, ensuring they are complete and compliant with all customer requirements and schedules.
- Ability to utilize and/or modify customer provided cost/pricing models.
- Strategic pricing analysis on all portions of the priced proposal to include understanding of government solicitations.
- Work with subject matter experts in the analysis of labor and material basis of estimates (BOEs).
- Develop and maintain pricing files in accordance with requirements.
- Work closely with proposal team to complete cost/pricing narratives, and other required proposal documentation per customers' RFP/RFQ.
- Prepare REA submissions based on wage determination and CBA union updated agreements.
- Prepare and present pricing files for management review and approval.
- Work in a team hybrid environment.
- Provide routine administrative support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, economics, or similar.
- Requires 6+ years' experience in government pricing or project finance experience.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Knowledge of CBAs and wage determinations.
- Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, and TandM.
- Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- General computer skills required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to routinely climb / descend stairs.
- On occasion must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
- Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
