
Residential Security Installer – Entry‑Level to Intermediate

Paid Training Program
Week 1: Complete online training
Week 2: Field shadowing — ride along with a Senior Technician
Week 3: Start hands‑on installations under supervision
Weeks 4–5: Continued guided training until you can perform work independently
Training is paid at a Training Pay Rate. After training, you transition to your full technician rate.
What You’ll Do (After Training)
Install & program burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems
Install window breaks, door units, smoke detectors
Troubleshoot alarm signal issues when needed
Provide hands‑on customer support in the field
Test and verify equipment signals
Train customers on using the equipment and address all questions
Complete necessary paperwork for each job
Cost out all parts used before closing jobs with dispatch
Maintain accurate truck inventory
Deliver top‑quality customer service
Achieve 90% installation goal attainment with zero “go‑backs”

Additional reimbursement available for mileage over 300 miles/week

Other Details
Overtime is allowed
A sixth workday may be requested but is not required
Daily schedule varies — technicians stay until the customer job is completed
(may be past 5pm depending on the job)
Experience Level Intermediate, but entry‑level candidates with mechanical ability and great customer service skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
