
Store Maintenance Manager

Position Summary
The Store Maintenance Manager is responsible for strategically managing preventive maintenance and repair operations across assigned brand retail locations in accordance with EssilorLuxottica standards.
This role acts as the primary point of contact for mechanical systems and maintenance support, partnering closely with Stores, Field Leadership, vendors, and Brand stakeholders to ensure safe, consistent, and cost-effective facility operations.
Key Responsibilities Vendor & Maintenance Operations
Optimize vendor responsiveness, repair turnaround time, and maintenance costs
Follow up with vendors to ensure service level expectations are met
Evaluate vendor performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Conduct annual KPI reviews and provide ongoing feedback
Approve repair quotes, proposals, and invoices up to $5,000
Store Support & Issue Resolution
Serve as the main escalation point for maintenance issues
Provide after-hours follow-up for emergency and high-priority repairs
Communicate with Store Maintenance Leadership and Brand partners on escalations
Perform periodic store site inspections to ensure maintenance quality
Budget & Financial Management
Assist in development of annual maintenance budgets (capital & expense)
Track and review budget performance with Finance and Director of Store Maintenance
Provide forecasting and accrual data
Develop business cases for cost justification and approval requests
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Participate in retail maintenance professional networks and benchmark best practices
Stay current on technical developments and facility trends
Ensure compliance with company maintenance standards
Required Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
5+ years of experience in Store Maintenance or Facilities Management
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and general facilities maintenance
Strong organizational, detail-orientation, and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and flexible environment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong business decision-making ability
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience with Work Order Management Systems (ServiceChannel preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
