
Our
Regional Sales Consultant
is responsible for supporting an external wholesaler in retaining and growing existing relationships as well as assisting in the development of strategies and business plans to win new client relationships. This individual has responsibility for the assigned geographic territory and is accountable for scheduled activities, new account openings, account retention, revenue growth and achievement of Firm objectives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with Regional Vice Presidents (RVP) to maximize territory sales efforts and attain sales goals
Partner with Regional Vice President to build and manage relationships within territory; which includes, generation of leads, customer service and efficient follow up while fostering a positive image of AAM
Collaboration with other sales departments within various product areas to provide clients with product accessibility while allowing AAM to capitalize on all available sales opportunities
Assist the RVP with territory management by setting appointments, sending out marketing material, ordering of gifts for representatives and sending thank you cards
Profile clients to obtain information that will assist the client in reaching stated objectives
Build strong relationships with existing investment professionals in territory by consistently offering sales ideas and other forms of marketing support
Prospect new contacts to establish new relationships and generate business
Discuss the financial markets, articulate fund objectives, and speak on portfolio strategies with clients
Proactively conduct outbound sales calls regarding prospecting/profiling, follow‑up, investment updates, recognition calls and time‑sensitive campaigns
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to capture all advisor level activities and to maximize sales targeting and effectiveness
Utilize CRM to coordinate regional marketing and communications plans
Ensure accuracy of CRM branch/advisor level data through routine updates and audits
Responsible for the tracking of all production for territory and also make any necessary corrections when needed
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1‑2 years of experience in the financial services industry
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Required Licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66
QUALIFICATIONS
Driven and goal‑oriented, focused on success
Demonstrated abilities in time management; including, managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
Excellent communication and group presentation skills
Mathematical aptitude and skills
Proven experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems
