What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop new business opportunities and implement strategies to attain sales objectives through consultative selling
Manage complex negotiations to position products and maximize revenue
Build and maintain relationships with benefits brokers and consultants within the assigned territory
Collaborate with internal and external partners to uncover growth opportunities and support post-sale activities
Track all activities in the company's CRM system and maintain current account information
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling Group Insurance, with 5+ years’ sales experience preferred
Proven success selling Dental, Vision, and other ancillary insurance products to employers with 51 or more employees
Valid State Health and Life insurance licenses
Excellent consultative selling skills and executive presence
Ability to travel as needed within the territory to meet with brokers, clients, and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience building strong relationships with brokers and consultants
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-related experience
Business and financial acumen
Familiarity with emerging marketplace trends and industry expertise
