practice is seeking an exceptional associate to join their New York office. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a market-leading real estate team on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters involving complex property transactions.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on complex real estate transactions, including real estate development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, financing transactions, and commercial leasing matters.
Support developers, owners, investors, lenders, and institutional clients in high-value real estate transactions across asset classes.
Draft and negotiate core transactional documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, leases, and development agreements.
Assist clients with due diligence, title, zoning, land use, and ongoing asset management matters.
Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams on multi-jurisdictional matters, including tax, finance, regulatory, and environmental issues.
Manage transaction processes and coordinate due diligence across multiple workstreams.
Qualifications
At least two years of experience in a top-tier law firm working on real estate matters, with demonstrated experience in
real estate development, financing, and/or leasing transactions .
Juris Doctor and New York Bar admission required.
Strong negotiating, drafting, analytical, and project-management skills.
Excellent academic credentials and professional references.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Highly competitive compensation, commensurate with class year and experience.
