About The Role As a Sales Representative, you’ll work directly with customers to provide tailored insurance solutions while learning advanced sales techniques in a supportive, high-performance environment. You’ll focus on generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and helping individuals, families, and businesses secure the coverage they need.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate leads through prospecting, referrals, and community engagement
Conduct personalized insurance consultations to understand and address client needs
Present and sell a full suite of insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial policies
Foster and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support
Track sales activity, manage follow-ups, and process renewals using CRM systems
Ensure compliance with Farmers Insurance standards and Michigan Department of Insurance regulations
Qualifications
Prior experience in sales, insurance, or customer service preferred
Active Property & Casualty License (or willingness to obtain)
Life & Health License (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Self‑motivated with a goal‑oriented mindset
Professional, organized, and dependable
