About Our Agency I've been a State Farm agent for 20 years, and before that I worked with ADT Home Systems I've always been passionate about protecting people and helping them feel secure in what matters most. I attended Richland College before transferring to the University of Texas at Dallas and graduating in 1998. I'm going on 25 years married, have three kids, and one furry family member who keeps life fun outside of work.

Our agency is made up of a strong team of seven, and we're committed to serving our community however we can including staying connected with UTD and supporting local efforts whenever possible. Our mission is simple: to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.

Our office culture is laid back, but we still have clear goals and expectations. We believe in working hard, being productive, and celebrating wins together because life is short. We keep consistent office hours (95, Monday through Friday) and make time to recognize success as a team.

Role Description Do you aspire to some day run your own business, be an advisor looked to in your community, and lead a team? John Jinuntuya - State Farm Agent is searching for an outgoing and customer-focused individual who can recognize opportunities and strategically turn leads into long-lasting customer relationships.

As part of my successful team, I will assist in developing your business leadership skills, industry and State Farm business acumen, as well as sales and marketing experience. This development and mentoring can lead you in the right direction to better prepare you for a potential career as a State Farm agent. As part of this opportunity, you will learn from an experienced agent and see what it is like to run a business and grow an agency.

Responsibilities

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.

Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.

Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Work alongside your agency's team to ensure successful long-lasting customer relations.

Qualifications

Sales experience preferred but not required

Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred

Ability to effectively relate to a customer

Self-motivated

Detail oriented

Property & Casualty license (Must be able to obtain)

Life & Health license (Must be able to obtain)
