This role serves as the primary coordinator for marketing projects and accounts, supporting initiatives across multiple research and innovation units, including OVPR, the Technology Licensing Office (TLO), Utah Venture Hub (UVH), the Applied Medical Engineering (AME) Lab, and other OVPR-supported programs. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing the flow of marketing work—from intake and planning through execution, review, and follow-up. The role coordinates timelines, workflows, website and content reviews, and performance check-ins to ensure work moves efficiently, stays aligned with priorities, and delivers measurable impact. As marketing activity continues to scale across the research enterprise, this position provides the operational structure and accountability that allow writers, designers, digital staff, and event leads to focus on high-quality creative and strategic work.
