Role Overview The
Venture Business Development Analyst
supports venture investment teams by expanding the firm’s
founder, partner, and ecosystem relationships . This role blends
deal sourcing, strategic partnerships, and market development , helping the firm strengthen its brand, access differentiated deal flow, and support portfolio company growth.
Analysts work closely with investors, platform teams, founders, and external partners to identify collaboration opportunities and accelerate value creation across the venture ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Support venture business development initiatives, including partnerships with accelerators, incubators, universities, and startup communities
Identify and engage prospective startups through ecosystem relationships and strategic channels
Assist in developing outbound sourcing strategies aligned with firm investment theses
Coordinate founder introductions, partner meetings, and ecosystem events
Track partnership activity, sourcing outcomes, and relationship pipelines
Support portfolio companies with go-to-market introductions, partnerships, and ecosystem access
Prepare internal updates on business development initiatives and sourcing impact
Collaborate with investment, platform, and marketing teams to strengthen venture brand presence
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field
Strong interest in venture capital, startups, partnerships, and ecosystem building
Experience in business development, consulting, startup operations, venture internships, or community roles is helpful
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a relationship-driven mindset
Comfortable engaging with founders, operators, and external partners
Organized, proactive, and motivated by building networks and long-term relationships
