Position Overview
We are seeking a talented
Junior / Intermediate Architectural Designer
with 3–4 years of experience in commercial interiors to join a collaborative architecture studio environment. This role supports workplace tenant improvements, landlord services, and repositioning projects across a diverse commercial portfolio. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-driven, and experienced in translating conceptual ideas into technical documentation while collaborating closely with senior designers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and documentation of commercial interiors projects from concept through construction administration
Prepare architectural drawings, space plans, and presentation materials
Develop design details consistent with project standards, codes, and client requirements
Assist in coordinating consultants, engineers, and vendors
Participate in client meetings and internal design reviews
Contribute to material selection, finish schedules, and technical specifications
Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
Ensure drawings and deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations
Requirements
3–4 years of professional experience in commercial interiors or workplace design
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
Solid understanding of commercial building codes and interior construction standards
Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment
