
TH Daniels Global Executive Search & Selection have partnered with a leading adhesives and bonding solutions manufacturer to recruit a Key Account Manager for their strategic customer portfolio.
This is a high‑impact commercial and technical role within the organisation, reporting directly into the VP Sales. The position is based remotely within the Midwest or Northeast region and requires significant domestic travel. The successful candidate will bring strong technical understanding of adhesive technologies alongside the strategic account leadership needed to grow key customers and build long‑term partnerships across multiple manufacturing sectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in account management, technical sales, or business development.
Background in adhesives, chemicals, polymers, coatings, or related industrial products.
Ability to understand technical specifications, bonding requirements, and application processes.
Proven success managing and strategically growing high‑value accounts over the long term.
Experience using CRM systems and applying data‑driven account planning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow key accounts in sectors reliant on adhesive technologies, including private label and branded product customers.
Serve as the primary contact for engineering, R&D, purchasing, and operations teams.
Understand customer applications, production challenges, and performance requirements to recommend appropriate adhesive solutions.
Develop strategic multi‑year account plans focused on expanding product usage and share of wallet.
Identify opportunities for new formulations, custom solutions, and process improvements.
