As a Market Executive inEmergingMiddle Market Banking for the Mid-Hudson region, you will hire and direct team members in their business development efforts to grow andretainprofitable banking relationships with Middle Market companies. In this role you will be expected to maintain a portfolio of your own while leading the bankingteamhowever the portfolio size is typically smaller in recognition of management responsibilities. Your team will typically include four to six bankers with indirect oversight overan underwritingstaff, a sales/marketing assistant, treasury salesofficerand client service professionals.EmergingMiddle Marketgenerally focuseson companies between $20 million and $100 million in sales size.

Job Responsibilities Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset Stay up to date with industry trends toidentifyopportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships Find ways to drive efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered bynew technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Minimum of ten years account relationship management experience with a focus on business relationships Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with knowledge of the region Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor Management experience in a Commercial Bank setting, specifically leading a commercial lending sales team withproficiencyin building andmaintainingpositive client relationships Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely Creative solution andproblem solvingabilities and excellent business judgment with the ability to multitask

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred Strong technology experience; digital background preferred Excellent organizational,influencingand interpersonal skills Self-directed, proactive, and creative: use sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done
