Develop and manage large-scale SolidWorks assemblies, including detailed parts, subassemblies, and complex machinery components.
Execute full product lifecycle design, from initial concept, modeling, prototyping, to final production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements.
Create detailed drawings, BOMs, and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve assembly efficiency and component integration.
Utilize SolidWorks tools and features to handle complex surfaces, large assemblies, configurations, and advanced mating.
Required Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years of professional SolidWorks experience. Proven experience with very large assemblies (4,000+ components) and complex machining designs. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes. Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly optimization. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design issues in large-scale mechanical systems. Excellent collaboration and communication skills in hybrid work environments. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
